Vikram Agarwal, a shareholder with Bean, Kinney & Korman, represents a broad range of clients in tax and corporate matters, assisting businesses in identifying and handling complex domestic and international tax issues, particularly in the real estate, renewable energy, government contracting, and technology industries.
Mr. Agarwal assists clients throughout the business lifecycle, from formation to exit, including business structure, capitalization and financing, and negotiating agreements among stakeholders and third parties. In addition, he guides clients on employment matters such as compensation, and handles exit transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and asset sales.
Mr. Agarwal began his tax career as a CPA with Ernst & Young LLP, where his work focused on state and local incentives. Prior to joining Bean, Kinney & Korman, Mr. Agarwal was a tax attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, focusing on highly complex transactions and novel tax controversies.
Mr. Agarwal earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude in 2011 and his Masters of Law with distinction in 2013, both from Georgetown University. He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and U.S. Tax Courts.
